Gett-eggs-burg
|
The Battle of Gettysburg was a turning point in US History, foreshadowing the end of the Civil War and
launching the Union to victory. I'm not sure if our Battle of Gett-eggs-burg was quite as climactic, but
when you have a bunch of guys running around throwing eggs at each other on a field something cool is bound to happen.

Fight Night
|
|
As part of our first rush event of the year, we offered a little something for everybody,
including sumo suit wrestling in the front yard of Bob, Fight Night Round 3 on the XBox 360
with 108" HD projection, and a title match between SUPAFLY (that would be Erem Boto) and

Ski Trip

With the chartered buses, a classy setting, good food and drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere, all we were
missing was the world's most famous DJ to make the package complete.

Paintball
|
 |
Waking up at the early hour of 7:00 AM, we met our brethren from Berkeley far to the south of Stanford and
challenged them on the field of battle. I wish I could say it was dramatic, but we heavily outnumbered them
and slaughtered them, so we ended up mixing up the teams to make it more balanced but less Gettysburg-esque in
epicness.

Seniors vs. Underclassmen Football
|
After much ruckus and trash-talk from none other than one Marty F. Casey, sophomore and VP Recruitment this
year, the sophomores and juniors challenged the Seniors to a game of tackle football. What transpired could
only be described as a massacre. Or maybe a grizzly bear-led massacre.

Valentine's Day Serenades
|
|
Ah, Valentine's Day. A Hallmark holiday? A day for jilted lovers to be bitter and angry at the world? A day
for people at Stanford to complain about being alone? For SigEp, it was none of those. It was a day to imitate
Boyz II Men and go serenade girls.
